Abu Dhabi, UAE – February 13, 2025 – Abu Dhabi Global Health Week (ADGHW) has launched the ADGHW Innovation Awards, a prestigious initiative recognizing groundbreaking healthcare solutions that drive global impact. Open to individuals, startups, and institutions worldwide, these awards aim to celebrate innovative advancements that improve patient care, enhance accessibility, and optimize healthcare delivery.
The winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony during ADGHW 2025, which will take place from April 15–17 in Abu Dhabi. In addition to receiving international recognition, winners will also be awarded financial prizes based on their respective categories.
Award Categories & Eligibility
The ADGHW Innovation Awards are open to a wide range of participants, including innovators, healthcare providers, and research institutions. The awards are divided into four main categories:
🔹 Individual Innovation—Recognizing groundbreaking contributions from individuals in healthcare.
🔹 Local Institutional Innovation—Open to organizations based in the UAE that have pioneered impactful healthcare advancements.
🔹 Regional Institutional Innovation—Acknowledging innovative institutions across the Middle East region.
🔹 Global Institutional Innovation—Honouring international organizations shaping the future of healthcare worldwide.
To qualify, participants must submit innovations that address critical healthcare challenges while demonstrating originality, scalability, and long-term sustainability. Eligible projects should fall within one of the following three key domains:
✅ Digital Health – Innovations leveraging technology to enhance healthcare accessibility and efficiency.
✅ Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology Innovations – Advancements in drug development, treatment methods, and biotechnological solutions.
✅ Medical Devices & Diagnostics – Cutting-edge tools and diagnostics improving patient outcomes and disease management.
Submissions must have been developed or significantly advanced within the past three years, supported by clear evidence of their effectiveness and impact.
Evaluation Process & Key Dates
All submissions will undergo a rigorous review process conducted by a distinguished panel of global healthcare experts, digital health specialists, and policymakers. The evaluation will be based on the innovation’s effectiveness, scalability, sustainability, and potential to address key healthcare challenges.
